I consider myself pretty hip. Wait, no I don't... I just lied. I would like to be hip, but I am not. So, when a friend invited me to go see Vampire Weekend, I was sure it had something to do with the Twilight books! I felt so hip, I had even read the WHOLE SERIES, I mean I knew who the Cullens were, come on. After a quick Google search, I was still clueless. A band? That started on the UWS? Wait, I LIVE on the UWS... shouldn't I know these guys? Well I didn't. But I do now.
They are pretty cool... I love the music. I have not yet purchased an album, but they now pop up on my Pandora station, so I am slowing getting to know them better and better. So, heres to getting a bit hipper!
